All these appellations have meanings and are only one and unique name; and this name is the life of the will of God. And if we are not in the life of his will, even if we open our mouth to say “in the name of Jesus, of Christ, of the messiah, of the Son of man, of the Lord, of Immanuel…”, Satan knows that we are not confessing the name of God, that is the life of God, but rather his name (the name of the devil) which is his life. The Lord equally knows that if we are not in the life of his will, no matter the appellation that we will bring out of our mouth, we are not confessing his name which is his life; but we rather seduce ourselves believing to confess his name.

That is why he says that many will say on that day: “‘Lord I have prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name” and he will openly say to them: “I never knew you because you did not live my will” (Matthew 7/22-23). That is even why the Lord made understand to the people that whoever lives the will of God, he is his brother or his sister (Mark 3/35); therefore, if you are the brother or the sister of Jesus, you are known by God; and calling the first of the brothers Jesus, Christ, Messiah, Son of man, Lord, Immanuel, Son of God, Jesus Christ…, you are confessing the name of God.

The Eternal announced by the mouth of prophet Isaiah saying: “…the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7/14). The Son of God is in the middle of the people of Israel and in the entire world; therefore, God is with us and it is Immanuel. That is why it is said: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us)” (Matthew 1/23). Immanuel is Jesus, that is why it is said: “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1/21), and Jesus is the Messiah and the Messiah is Christ; that is even why it is said: “but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20/31).

The Lord Jesus was talking of himself much more on the appellation of the Son of man; that is why he was saying: “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds” (Matthew 11/19). He was also saying: “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” (Matthew 12/8). And he was still saying: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19/10). It is also said: “As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men” (Matthew 17/22). The lord Jesus was still talking of himself on the appellation of the Son of man when he says: “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death” (Matthew 20/18).

He continued saying: “even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20/28). He was still using this appellation saying: “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24/44). He was also saying: “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified” (Matthew 26/2). He was still saying: “The Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born” (Matthew 26/24). He was also teaching saying: “But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21/36). The appellation Son of man is still used when he was saying: “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal” (John 6/27). He still mentions it when he was saying: “Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?” (John 6/62). Also, he says: “…Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him” (John 13/31).

The Messiah is the Christ, that is why it is said: “He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ)” (John 1/41), and it is still said: “The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things” (John 4/25). Herod gathered the people and he wanted to know in which town the Christ was to be born as it is said: “and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born” (Matthew 2/4). That is still why it is said: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2/11).

When the Lord Jesus was in Caesarea of Philippi, he asked the people who he was, and these ones did not give the exact answer, he then turned towards the apostles and asked them who he was, and Apostle Peter responded to him: “…You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16/16). The Lord Jesus said to the disciples: “whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ will by no means lose his reward” (Mark 9/41). He still said: “Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” (Luke 24/26). It is said: “…And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God” (Matthew 26/63).

When the high priest asked the Lord Jesus to say if he is the Christ, the Lord did not respond to him, but he rather announced him the coming of the Son of man as it is said: “…But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26/64). It is also said: “So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?” (Matthew 27/17). It is still said: “Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it” (1 Corinthians 12/27). Romans 14/18 says: “Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men” It is also said: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil” (2 Corinthians 5/10), and Apostle Paul says: “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ” (2 Corinthians 11/13); Apostle Paul still says: “But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ” (Philippians 3/7). It is also said: “Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin” (1 Peter 4/1).

Phillip was preaching the Christ, that is why it is said: “Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ” (Acts 8/5); and Christ being Jesus and Jesus being Christ, we preach Jesus Christ as it is said: “For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake” (2 Corinthians 4/5). That is even why it is underlined that: “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God” (Mark 1/1). It is still said: “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1/17) and Apostle Peter says: “…Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2/38).

It is also said: “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2/5), and Apostle Paul says: “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3/14), Galatians 3/26 also says: “for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith”. And when Apostle Peter delivered a sick person, he said to the people that he has cured him in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as he says: “let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead by him this man is standing before you well” (Acts 4/10). The Lord Jesus said to Saul before his conversion to become Apostle Paul: “…I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 22/8). When they arrested Jesus, Apostle Peter was running towards the door, but a woman recognised him saying: “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth” (Matthew 26/71).

It is still said: “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people” (Luke 24/19) and John 19/19 says: “Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews”. On what concerns the appellation Jesus, it is said: “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus” (Luke 1/31); for it is said: “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28/18). It is still said: “So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus” (Acts 4/18).

All is in the life of the will of God, that is why when we live this will, we are in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; we are in God, the Lord, Jesus, Christ, the Son of man, the Messiah, Jesus Christ… that is why when Apostle Peter asked that they should baptise the first pagan who had believed, it was neither in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit nor in the name of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of man or in the name of Jesus Christ, but it was in the name of the Lord. He said: “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to remain for some days” (Acts 10/48).

The name of the Lord in his life is equal to all these appellations, and all these appellations are found in the unique life that has been given for name, for it is the life of Jesus which we carry for name that makes the devil who is the death to tremble; and the confessions of these appellations without life are without the eternal force and power. I am given for free by the Lord Jesus for this generation and all what I write or do is free of charge like the one that has sent me and I.

CHAMPI Apostle not behalf of man, nor by a man but by Jesus Christ and God the Father. God’s power is the knowledge. To know, avoid sin and to be free from the eternal death. (John 8/32)
